About our carpentry work
Framing is the part of the house nobody sees twice
GC Framing covers the full range of framing and rough carpentry across greater San Diego County — a new deck or patio cover, the framing for a new home, or the addition you have been planning for years. Residential or commercial, the crew and the standard are the same. We are fully licensed, bonded, and insured (CA Lic. #1033958).
We show up with the equipment the job actually needs — scaffolding, extension ladders, beam saws, air compressors, power generators — so the schedule does not stall waiting on a rental. And because the same company is licensed for painting and partners on termite work, the structure and the finish can be handled together.
After years of pricing this work, our estimates land close to the final number. That is what makes us competitive without cutting the parts of a frame that matter.
Before anything gets cut
We walk the property with you first
Owner or general contractor, we walk the site together before the first board is cut, so everyone is working from the same plan. Catching the small details at the walkthrough is what keeps them from becoming rework later.

Our crew & our promise
Framers who can read the plans
Best quality for the money is the goal, and it comes down to who is holding the nail gun.
The crew on your job
Our people are trained and carry the experience to get a frame right the first time: supporting beams properly, using the correct brackets and hardware, following building code — and, just as importantly, reading the project plans and following them.
Correct brackets and structural hardware
Built to current building code
Plans read and followed as drawn
Our promise to you
Your project gets finished by professionals who are clean, on time, dedicated, respectful, and qualified to do the work. That is the whole promise — there is no fine print under it.
Give us the chance to meet in person, walk the site, and turn the idea you have been sketching into something framed and standing.

Painting, decorating & termite work
GC Framing is also California-licensed for painting and decorating, so sealing, priming, and the final finishes can be handled by the same company that framed the structure.
For wood-destroying organisms and pest control, we partner with GC Termite Control — useful when rot or termite damage turns up mid-repair.
